So out of nowhere yesterday, both my battle.net and league of legends launchers will not open. They worked perfectly fine before that and cant think of anything left to try to fix them. I tried

Repairing .net framework

using the launchers respective repair tools

copied over LoL folder from laptop that works fine, still doesn't work so i don't think its a corrupted file or something.

reinstalled both games

updated latest windows updates

updated to latest nvidia driver

Any ideas? Anything would be appreciated i really don't want to have to reinstall the OS

A shot in the dark, but you could try reinstalling/repairing all of the Visual C++ redistributables for Windows? Make sure to do both x86 and x64 ones, as well as all of the available year-packs (some games for example might need 2015 AND 2008 to work)

It's not LoL, but I had an issue where the game Life is Strange refused to launch and it was fixed by repairing some of the Visual C++ redistributables.

CodeMaster (Name Due for Update):

CPU: FX-8320 @ 4.6GHz | Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 | RAM: 24GBs Crucial DDR3-1600

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce OC | Case: Fractal Design Define S | PSU: Corsair AX860i
