I recently bought GTX1070 to replace my 970. But I don't see much improvement on FPS especially on the CPU heavy game like Dota 2. My friend said i5-4690K @4.3 is not quite enough for 144Hz monitor and I need to buy 6 Core i7 and shit. Well, if I really have to upgrade, then mayb i7-4790K, becoz I don't wanna change mobo. but tbh, does i5-4690k too slow to handle 144Hz gaming?
