BIOS Issues

I Recently got a new 960 for my stock hp computer, i attempted to use it, and it didnt work, i was told to turn off the intergrated graphics, but see no such option, i've tried updating the bios, but no avial. Someone help.

Do you have everything required connected to the card? Is the card slotted into the board properly? Is the card turning on?

The card turns on, i have the 6-pin plugged in, and I'm certain its inserted correctly

Do you get any display output at all with the card connected? How old is this PC?

Yes, i Have a DVI set-up and this pc was made in 2011 i believe

When I said display output, I mean do you get an image on the display with the card connected?

Yes, i goes to the bios boot screen with is the Hp logo, and after ~40 seconds goes to a black screen with a blinking _

If you remove the card, does the PC boot like normal?

Nope. my grandfather got a new pc about a week ago and he thinks

putting it in will fuck everything up.

But I think the BIOS on your PC is the issue. Can you take a picture of the BIOS on your HP PC?

His is a HP Pavilion With a 4.3 GHz AMD A10 Processor, with r9 int. graphics

 And if you wait for me to restart my computer and take a couple pictures, i cant get them to you

I have no idea, but it may help with the video card troubleshooting.
