Only DDR. It would create it's own SSD.

Like the board itself says, this is a ramdisk PCI card (not PCIe).

You can plug in DDR (gen. 1) ram-sticks into this thing and use them as a really fast drive.

But its outdated, since it is only for gen 1 ddr ram and for old school PCI slots.

 

The black thing on the right is a lithium-battery to keep the ram powered even when the pc is turned off.

Only DDR. It would create it's own SSD.
