Hello

I'm having a problem with an old computer I "harvested" today, for some Windows XP "gaming" xD
It's an old Fujitsu Scenic P300 (Pentium 4 2GHz)
It's an old hospital/medical center computer, so I formatted the harddrive and all that malarky, even changed paste on the CPU for good measure.

I installed Windows XP on it, but as soon as I restarted the computer, and told it to boot from the HDD, it just shuts down instantly.
I've tried different HDDs.

Any suggestions on what it might be?

I was perhaps thinking the same, but BIOS doesn't have temp monitor, but I feel like the BIOS is limited in some way. But I'm gonna install a linux distro, to see if I can get a temperature montior going there

Got to mention that when I first hooked up the computer after picking it up, I started it up, and it did boot into windows, but it was password proctected and all that jazz, and I wanted a fresh install.. that's when it didn't boot into windows anymore..
The first part of installation went fine I might add.. where I partitioned the drive and all that
