Laptop display discrepancy?

Go to solution Solved by Mira Yurizaki,

If the first screen shot is a print-screen screen shot or similar, it looks like you're scaling the UI. This confuses things that try to guess what your resolution is, especially web browsers.

I have a Lenovo Flex 3 laptop (1470) that is supposed to come with a 1080P monitor. Under the windows settings, the resolution (1080P) is recognized. However, when I use the online tools to check my resolution, it says my monitor is 720P.

What is going on? Why is there this difference?
