Upgrade questions

Hello, i have a Z68MA-D2H-B3 motherboard and an i7 2600k processor, and a corsair cx 500 power supply unit. Im thinking about buying a gtx 1080, so i have a few questions:

 

1-Does my current config support a single GTX 1080 without bottlenecking?

2- In case i upgrade my power supply, could i run two 1080s in SLI?

2600k in sli would be pushing it, but should be fine

Your processor seems a bit low end But It would work fine, Might be some small hiccups alone the way though.

My main concern would be the use of two pciE slots pulling too much energy from the MB and disabling or stressing all the usb ports.  Im not that tech savy so if thats dumb sorry for bringing it up haha.

Well doesn't the 1080 have its own 6 pin connector connect to the PSU to draw like all its power?

I think it has. But i dont know, i heard the rx 480 was pulling too much energy from the MB and causing shutdowns, figured it could happen to my older MB and 2 newer GPUS.

yeah thats probably right. I think the power issue is just a rx 480 thing. Anyway this video is where i heard of it:
