Hello everyone,

I've been playing some games lately, but some of them have been causing problems. When I play NFS MW (2012) my GPU usage is at 80% instead of 99% (difference between 35fps and 55fps). The case of the Assassin's Creed III is even worse. My GPU runs at 45-50% load, which makes my game lag very badly. Any ideas for fixing that ? Any help will be appreciated.

That's not really enough info for us to help you man :P What GPU do you have? Do you know what temperature it's running at under load? Are you using the latest drivers? Also what CPU/mobo do you have?

Do you have any graphic card overclocking software installed, like MSI AfterBurner? They might be forcing your GPU at minimum performance.
Yes, I have. MSI Afterburner and ASUS GPU Tweak.

I have a ASUS Radeon HD 7770, running at 1020mhz stock core clock. I get 60 celsius on max load.I'm using the 13.1 drivers for AMD Catalyst. I have a AMD FX-4170 and an ASUS M5A97 PRO

Uninstall your OC software, both. Restart your computer, and see if it helps.

I beleive also that you can OC your graphic card using Radeon control panel. make sure it's not set to force your GPU at minimum speed.

Same thing. My GPU load is at 40-50%. When I OC my GPU, the game runs for 5 secs and then says ''AC3 has stopped working'' so I have no chance of OC. That happens to all games when I OC

try something like crysis and see if your gpu goes to 100% load,if not it's some sort of issue with the hardware.

if it does go to 100% with crysis then that means it's just those games being badly optimized.
