[REQ] Recommended backup software

Hi, I'm looking for a program that will back up several directories on my HDD selected by me to a partition of my choice, organize the backups into folders by dates and delete older backups (lets say something like every 4 or 5 backup for example).

I'll be very grateful for any recommendation (especially from personal use and experience) of a program that would answer my needs. (I prefer freeware, but am willing to pay for a solution that would be worth my money)
