i7 4770k core problem

Go to solution Solved by ttam,

Try setting the number of processor core in your bios to "all" not just set to optimized settings.

Try this;
Click Start

Type "msconfig" into the search box & click it.

Click the Boot Tab

Click "Advanced Options"

Make sure "Number of processors" is UNCHECKED (nothing should be checked except the 2 grayed boxes for debug & baud)

So i was running Cinebench R15 earlier to get a screenshot for a forum earlier and I noticed it was only running at 2 cores and 4 threads. The processor has never been over clocked. Got a score of 328..? Any reason why its only using 2 out of 4 cores?

Specs: i7 4770k

Asus z87 pro

8 Gigs corsair ram

HX650 Corsair power supply

550ti superclocked 2gb

H100i cooling

R4 case
