EK D5 pump/res help

Hi guys, I'm attempting to prime my custom loop but for some reason I can't seem to get the pump to run? Any ideas? I have it plugged into the PSU and the MOBO and have tried without MOBO and still nothing? Am I missing something obvious?

Is the PSU running? I would advise not having it connected to anything other than the pump and just jumping the PSU when you need power.

I only have the pump plugged in but when I turn the PSU on nothing happens. The PSU is working

How do I 'jump' the PSU?

It prevents you from having to put any power through the motherboard. 

 

Is the pump a D5 vario? If it is, try increasing the speed setting.

I just have a little problem.....they are all black

And it's not vario

Ah, yeah. I had that issue with my PSU too  Took some trial and error for me. 

 

What PSU do you have? Looks like a HXi series to me, but I'm not sure. I can try to find the pinout of the PSU so you don't have to mess around trying to find the right wires. 

 

EDIT: Never mind. It just occurred to me that the Pinout is still the same on the Motherboard side, regardless of PSU. 

 

Basically, jump the two pins that the person in the link did.

Edited my post. Remembered that the end connectors are the same for all PSUs, pretty much.

Jump these 2 pins, pinout is same on all 24 pin connectors
