So my friend is coming over tomorrow for me to clean out his pc of dust, and he asked me if i could overclock his CPU and gpu.  he has the following

i7 2600k + 240mm AIO (he doesn't know)

GTX 560 Ti

i know how to overclock gpus and how to verify them, but what about cpus?

i do have access to AIDA64 but for the i7 2600k, what should i expect from it?

is AIDA64 Good for testing a cpu overclock? and if so, for how long?

thank you
