Hello!

I just received my new fancy GTX 1080 Asus strix card, but I am having some issues. For some reason I can't have a DVI and a HDMI cable plugged in at once, it won't show both displays then. The HDMI cable days that it doesn't have any signal. If I remove the DVI cable however, I am getting a signal on the HDMI. Can you really not run one DVI and one HDMI at once, or am I being stupid somehow? Feeling very claustrophobic with only one screen D:

I think one of them maybe multiplexed with the DVI port. So you can use only one or the other. This is the only logical explanation I can think of considering HDMI and DVI are practically the same

Not sure what was going on, but if I switched it around so that I used DVI/HDMI on the other monitor, it worked. And with two HDMI it worked... so... well it's weird. Maybe you have to put them in a certain order or something? works now at least...
