It won't... but if you haven't bought it already, I advise you to get the i5-6500 (the 6400 won't bottleneck 980 Ti at all!), as your overall system performance will be much better! :)

I noticed. The 6400, when configured to run at boost clock all the time, will be fine.

So you already have the 6400? Was it pre-built? Because you could have chosen the 6500 (not much of a price difference, I think) which performs much better than the 6400. But still, you'll be good to go with the 980Ti.

Yeah its prebuilt so im also getting a new psu the 550 g2
