The FX 6300 is a good CPU if you're going for as cheap as possible, but it's from 2012. A Skylake i3-6100 will often outperform the FX 6300 in gaming, sometimes by leaps and bounds, especially when the FX 6300 is at stock speeds (I'm assuming you're running it at stock, since you aren't getting an aftermarket cooler).

Kingston is getting a lot of flak for that particular SSD, but it's a decent SSD for the most part.

Seagate hard drives aren't very well known for being reliable hard drives, but your mileage might vary. Personally, I'd get a Western Digital Blue drive. It's a little bit more expensive, but if you plan on using this PC for at least a few years, then reliability is important.

The 950 is a good match for that CPU. You might want to pick a slightly cheaper version of the 950 if you don't want to do the rebate, but that's up to you.

Be careful with cheaper power supplies. Yes, EVGA is a pretty reputable company, but when you buy PSUs, especially cheap ones, check reviews made by buyers to make sure you're not going to get something that will explode your PC. Remember: you get what you pay for.

If you're trying to go on such a budget, you should also consider used parts (if you're willing), as you might get a much better deal than retail prices.

moved to new build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
