yes its upgradable, id start with the CPU, but then you probably want a better GPU, then you probably need a new power supply if thats the case

But what exactly were you thinking?

What sort of upgrades do you need

It should be completely possible, what power supply is it?

If you're not sure, can we have a picture?

what would the best CPU be for a DDR3 board?

Well without changing board maybe 8350 could be a good idea but honestly id go intel

if you are doing that, I would just get a whole new PC, the case and powersupply are crap on these

Id just start from scratch, sell this PC for £200-£300 and get a whole new PC

Well, since this PC has a FX4300, I would say the upgrade path will be either: a FX 6300 (6 cores) or FX 8350 (8 cores).

So, I'm guessing it's a Aerocool Intergrator (Please confirm if I'm right) which isn't as bad as I thought.

You could upgrade to a FX 8350 8 core for about £100, or you could wait until early next year for a new AMD AM4+ motherboard and a Zen CPU.

I reccomend the latter, since it'll last for longer and be better and probably be about the same price for equivalent performance.

If you have enough money for a Z170 board and a i5, this is also an option (it'll cost about £300).

Also, a 1060 will fit your current system just fine. Although your CPU might be a little slow for it. It depends on how it's treating you now.

Also, last word of advice. The GTX 1060 (6GB) and the RX 480 are about equivalent in performance. Look at both online for prices and buy the cheaper one. The 1060 (3GB) is a weaker card and is said to be about equivalent to the RX 470. Just get the cheaper one. (although this is just speculation for now as the 1060 or RX 470 isn't out yet)

Good value, high level dedicated graphics card. This will play all current games in their highest resolution settings in stunning clarity. Perfect for competitive/serious online gamers.

- they put shit like that in their description.

- lowest configuration does not ship with an OS. (hence they didnt even test the frikkin thing before it shipped out)

- uses an FX quad core, those procressors are a JOKE only used by shady prebuilt manufacturers so they can slap "quad core" on the box.

- "max display output is 1080p full HD" yeah.. bet i can plug a 4K panel in there just fine?

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/rxP9JV is what you get for your money.

EDIT: here's some shitty peripherals along with it: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hkmQZ8
