Choosing a CPU

Hi im building a skylake pc and was wondering what CPU i should get for my needs. All I want is a very fast processor for web browsing and thats it. I was going to go for an i5 6500 but then realized it doesnt have hyper threading and now i dont know if i should get the i7 6700 with turbo boost and hyper threading or an i5 with only turbo boost.

no need if your doing web browsing, an i5-6500 will do you fine. processor speed is used mostly for things like start up and general running, web browsing will only use a small portion of its speed, the main factor that will affect your fast web browsing is your internet speed.

I have an overclock i7-6700k but my google is only a bit faster than my macbook with an i5. This is due to my shoddy internet speed.

If that's really it, you can go as cheap as a Pentium G4400 and still be a bit overkill. Use the money you saved on an SSD, perhaps a prettier case or a nice mouse / keyboard / wireless headphone. Those would give you a much better experience than getting a better CPU.
