Mirroring a 4k Image to 1440p Display

I currently have one 1440p monitor and one 4k Monitor.

What I want to do is to mirror the 4k display to my 1440p monitor. What displays on 4k monitor would also display on the 1440p monitor.

One small side note, the 4k display only has HDMI, Where 1440p monitor will accept DP or HDMI.

Is that possible? If so How would I go about to doing that.

If you have NVIDIA (and maybe AMD can do this too), you can use DSR to enable "higher" resolutions on the 1440p monitor and you can mirror the monitors from there. I think the DSR multiplier is 1.5. However, I'm not sure how the refresh rate will play out since HDMI would be limited to 30Hz.
