A cheap and functional case with plenty of room inside and plain-ish styling that I reccommend would be the Aerocool Aero-800/Aero-500.

The difference between the two being the Aero-500 having usb/sd card reader/audio/buttons/power LED on the top, and the Aero-800 having it on the front w/o the SD card reader and also having a seperate basment compartment.

I'm perfectly happy with mine and it only cost me £40.

for the price you have the worlds kinda your oyster here, best bet would be to think about what you want.

itx/atx, mid, mini, full tower, watercooling, colour scheme, glass, metal and find something that ticks all the boxes for you.

any case for that kinda price is gonna be good.

Indeed. Thing good and hard about what you want from a case. Options like 240/280 (or even 360) radiator support or a tempered glass side panel are all things you can watch for. @erolwes I can recommend the Mastercase 5, still enjoying it till this day. This one is also a case I like a lot :

Im thinking of building a new PC but i don't have a huge budget for things so i figured to start with the case but i didn't know were to start.

my budget is $150

150 is definitely a budget. It's a rather high budget but it's a budget nonetheless.

Just look at cases you like, not too hard. Define R5? 450D? Enthoo Evolv? Etc

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
