You should be able to grab a custom Radeon RX 480 4GB for that price (keep a keen eye on the Sapphire Nitro).

 

I'd tell you to wait for the GeForce GTX 1060 but the prices will likely not be in your range (MSRP is $250 but we know how that went for the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080).

For single card, probably 1060, however if you can get a 480 and eventually another one your performance would be similar to a 1080 but much cheaper
