Hi!

I recently encountered a strange problem on my monitor. I've been using this monitor with a custom resolution for over a year, with zero problems.

But this week I got my MSI 1070 and when I boot my PC, the screen is really blurred and messed up, and there's a text from my monitor that says

"Incorrect cable. Please use the Dual Link DVI cable that came with your monitor." All of this is fixed when I go to my nVidia Control Panel, change the

resolution to native 144Hz and back to my custom resolution. It only happens when my PC boots up to the custom resolution.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

This happens to my XL2720Z almost every time when I unplug and re-plug the cable it gives me the same error. I just unplug and re-plug until it stops giving me the error

I guess it's just a BenQ thing.

But this never happened on my older GPU. Same settings, same resolution, same cable. Makes no sense
