Hello boys and girls

here is my list of components.

will this be a god choice? the rad will be placed in the top of the case. thats why it needs to be thin.

you are welcome to come with suggestions to how i can make it better.

I am very sorry for the German links it is the only place in europe where they have everything.

best regards

Jakob

  • You picked a good radiator, I used it myself for a bit. It is high FPI so you may need to run your fans a little faster but you can easily cool a single CPU with it.
  • Instead of buying the bridging connector you can just bend a paper-clip or a wire. It's not "necessary" to buy a bridging connector like that.
  • You  picked very expensive fittings, if you want to lower the price of your loop you can get EK fittings if  you want cheap fittings that just work or even monsoon fittings if you still want "premium" fittings at a lower price.
  • Good CPU paste.
  • Those fans are good. If you want fans more suited to your radiator you should go with Scythe Gentle Typhoons.
  • Good coolant
  • Good Tubing

(If I missed something it's because the links didn't load)

I am not confident enough to bridge the 24-pin myself.

What you are saying about the rad is that the fans have to run faster and generate more noise.
i don´t like that. But i guess it will have to do...
I know that the fittings is expensive, but i like Bitspower. and money is not such a big problem.

i fund some better links to the stuff you missed.

No offense intended, but if you're confident enough to build a custom water cooling solution, you should be confident enough to bridge the 24pin connector.  It's very simple, and a money saver.

Good luck, i'll be interested to see the loop completed!

It just seems dangerous all that power in a paper-clip. i like solid connections.
And it is not like i wouldn´t have money to food, if i spend 3€ on that connecter.

it'll be 3.3volts, 5volts or 12volts.. nuttin' hair-raising or heart-stopping if that is the

worry. if it is a good branded PSU, and there is a mess-up, it'll shutdown internally

and reset. but easy to do, find only green wire in the 24-pin. there is a black wire

next to it, join those with the paper clip at the contact end, plug PSU in, turn PSU

on. you have just jumpered a PSU. you'll want to make sure some sort of "load" is

attached to the PSU (case fan on molex connector is common).
