many people recommend 80 + certified power supply's .... 

 

i have one laying around with Efficiency >85%@ Typical Load

 

so whats the difference :? 

 

also whats the difference between dual rail  and single rail :>

 

 

in my country people just buy some cheap chinese power supply without even looking ... but i know they suck  but some people on internet say cooler master power supply's are like chinese one is it true :? 

 

also some people know if this power supply heats up a lot and makes ur case worm  how do they figure it out : ?

the >85% @ typical load will be marketing jargon. they dont know what you'll be using and how much power you're consuming

 

the whole efficiency thing is helpful if you want to be eco friendly, but in the long run i dont know if you save yourself a whole lot of money..

 

single rails are normally perceived as being better as they distribute the current over one rail, as with a dual rail, the same current is distributed over the two, so if you plug too many things into one rail then it'll blow the psu.

 

dont just say that if somethings made in china it is bad, its not that. it'll be the quality of the manufacturer, not the country its made in. you'll be surprised how much is made in china

 

coolermaster are good PSUs, regardless if they're made in china or not.

well i said chinese psu that are imported to my country are bad as they don't run much they blow quite often  ... thats why my experience with them is bad

80+ is just a efficiency certificate, it just tells you how efficient the psu will be at certain loads for example at 50% load it might be 85% efficient, meaning maybe 500 watts of power will be going into your components but it will draw roughly 588 watts from the wall? the rest will go to excess heat and various other things, it's just a proof of how efficient the psu is, namely a efficiency certficiate.

if it has some 80+ rating it means it has been tested and rated, soo .. you can probably trust it, by no means trust it blindly though.
