Hello,

I'm looking to build a new gaming computer and I have all the parts picked but the mobo is very ugly. It's an asrock z-170 and it's almost perfect except for the colours on it. My entire build is red and black but this mobo is black and bronze. The case is the corsair carbide 400c so the entire inside of the pc will be visible and I definitely don't want this thing to stick out like a sore thumb. Is there any way I could just cover the ugly parts without repainting them?

Thanks :)

Your best bet would be to take them off and spray paint them, there isn't really an easy way around it unless you can source some black heatsinks of the same size and have the same mounting points.

Unless there is 1 specific feature why not just get a different motherboard in the same price range with the color scheme you want?

Just curious

All Black, same price, actually cheaper after MIR.

Can't see any outstanding features the Asrock has that this doesn't.

i would spray paint them with engine block paint. It will allow for the lowest resistance to heat transfer. But even normal spray paint would be fine ncix did a video on spray painting cpu heat syncs and there was not difference in temps.
