Hello linustechtips folk.

I am having a problem lately with frequent BSOD x124 happening at my PC , most noticeably while playing games.

I've been reading that this problem is due to hardware temperatures going high, and this would make sense for me as I OC-ed my CPU, but it's strange since I never had this BSOD happening before (which was 6+ months after I OC-ed my CPU) and seeing it suddenly appear confuses me.

I've gone to check with CPUID HardwareMonitor my CPU temps and they seem okay, but there is a discrepancy where it shows that my CPU voltages are set to 1.4 even though at BIOS it states that they are 1.3 (how I put it when OC-ing) , so I don't know which one is right here.

When playing games I don't run any applications in the background (except small ones like Anti Virus and NVIDIA Experience), so I'm not sure what could be causing heating issues.

I've been playing some games which are far more CPU demanding than I do now and the BSOD's never happened. Any suggestions for this problem.

Here is the dxdiag report, hopefully it will help you with the info you need.

Thanks in forward.
