Yes, you will deal with stretching I'm pretty sure :P

Hi guys,

i'm thinking about a monitor upgrade. Currently i have a 1080p monitor and a 2160p TV. I play games on my PC and i have my PC connected to my 2160p TV for couch gaming with my Steam-Controller. I'm looking into getting an Ultrawide screen(21:9).

The question:

Will i have to deal with black bars or stretched pictures when duplicating this Ultrawide screen on my 4K TV?

Cheers Warpheus

You can't duplicate displays unless you set them to the same resolution. If you're using two monitors with different aspect ratios to display the same image, at least one of them will have black bars, stretching, or part of the image cut off.
