This has been the biggest b*stard ive ever had to work with. Yes its untidy. No I dont care.

Parts list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/qjLvVY

MSI Z97I AC ITX Motherboard:

Was at the time the only ITX board available with the Z97 chipset. Overpaid for it, nothing fancy, does what it needs to.

i5 4690k:

The processor is almost perfect, smashes through any game I throw at it. I say almost perfect as it does struggle sometimes with multiple apps open and playing GTA 5. Its OC'd to 4.0GHz currently.

HyperX Fury Blue 8GB (2x4GB):

Well, its RAM. It works. Could probably do with some more.

Hyper 212 Evo:

Great CPU cooler for the price, a bitch to install and makes the case feel tiny but it does its job.

Gigabyte Windforce GTX 960 4GB:

Bought this after seeing it in my friends system paired up to dual Xeon E5405s and was horrible. Was cheap and works very well when paired up with an i5 however, handles every game I've thrown at it at high settings 60fps. Will soon be replaced by an EVGA GTX 980Ti.

Corsair AX860:

Overkill to hell powersupply but bought because it was brand new, still sealed and only £100.

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX:

I love this case, but at the same time I hate it. It looks great, but cable management is awful. Bought by accident thinking it was the ATX one xD

Conclusion.

I love this thing, its small, powerful, and does what I need it to. Will be an absolute machine once I throw the 980Ti in there and bump up to 16GB RAM.

980Ti is cheaper here, the one im getting is £100 cheaper than a good aftermarket 1070

Then it's a steal, how much are you your 1070s? I can find one for $400-$420 here.

Reference 1070s are £430. The Strix one I was looking to buy is £455. My friends offered me his EVGA Classified for £350.
