Building a gaming server

Thanks for all. Could you help me to start with it. I don't really know how to make a Minecraft Sever and all the videos in YouTube are not well explained. Could you please help me?

I know exactly how to make one, i used to run a CraftBukkit server for a couple of years, but if you don't know how to follow online to do it - you shouldn't really be hosting your own. Just rent from a minecraft host.

Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2667 v4
Gigabyte MU70-SU0 INTEL C612 LGA 2011-3 ATX
Kingston Technology 64GB RAM Kit (4x16GB) 2133MHz DDR4 ECC Reg CL15 DIMM DR x 4 with TS Server Memory (KVR21R15D4K4/64)
AMD Radeon R7 240 (Optional. If you want to access your server over remote control you don´t need a GPU.)

That should work.

You´ll also need a static IP adress for people who want to join the server. You can ask your ISP for that.

Stop trying to discourage this man from hosting. As long as he is aware that there is a decent chance the server won't work out, and that this is going to be hard work, it's fine. Yes, renting from a host would be easiest, but building and maintaining a server is a valuable thing. I plan on building a server for minecraft soon as well. I don't pretend that it's going to take off and be a large server, but as I said before it's a valuable learning experience.
