Hey, Happy Eid Al-Fitr for all muslim members.

btw, i have a Hp Pavilion g4 1311au laptop with Amd a4 apu.

i seen many of test the different farom singe channell to dual channell, i want to upgrade my ram to 8GB from this kit (Corsair Vegenance cmsx8gx3m2a1600c9). But i have a bit problem of money. i can buy it maybe at next month but,,, can it will be worth? for 45 buck? i not wanna dissappointed becouse of this, so i wanna hear all of your opinion.

wait, have you checked the manufacturer manual and see what speeds/capacity it can take?

proc max ram speed is 1333mhz

i cant find any info about the capacity, but in the past i see that the max is 10GB/16GB. i forgot that

Whether or not you are disappointed depends on your expectations.

 

It's probably got a 32bit OS on it, so you'll need to reinstall a 64bit OS if you want to use more than 4GB of ram.

yes, i will reinstall my windows to 64bit after upgrade the ram

then 8gb will do, but make sure your OS is not 32bit or else it will only support 4gb

just buy a 2 gb 1333 stick... thats all you can do with that... dont buy more because that cpu will have no idea what to do with more ram... its rly slow... and I doubt there is dual channel on that thing

ok. but is the rumor is right?. about using dual channell will increase the fps number?

yeah it will increase, but only by like 1-2 fps.... really.

this laptop ram is 2 gb 1600mhz. it was really slow and when i want flash my android through fastboot with 1 gb of image, this laptop went to freeze. so i think this laptop needs more ram
