I purchased a BenQ EW2740L a while back now and have been experiencing issues with it on and off(Hidden pun) during this period, usually the problems are resolved easily but the problem is occurring more often recently.

What happens is my monitor turns on and works in standby 100% off the time, yet as soon as there is a signal the monitor cuts out, to get the monitor to work again I have to fiddle around with the power cable, if I get it to work again it usually will cut out at a later time if not instantly. From what I have gathered the issue is caused by a bad capacitor.

Should/How I attempt to replace the capacitor or should I send off the monitor for repairs, home repairs are probably the most cost effective as I live out in the Australian Country and postage for the monitor would be excessive.

Thanks
