Okay so this is gonna be a nice long explanation.

Before I start my specs are

Gtx 750ti

Asus motherboard goes with the fx6300 CPU so whatever that is its like m9a7 or something

8gb ddr3 ripjaws

440watt viotek power supply

Okay so what has happened is this. I had a nice 450 watt power supply in my computer but I took it out to put in my friends and I started using the 440 watt supply everything worked fine then one day I woke up and the computer did the same it is now and would not post so I took it all apart and I flipped the voltage behind the power supply for just the hell of it and it worked so it was running great now a reminder is that this power supply is short so I had to just sit it next to the case lol so all was fixed but I just yesterday took it to my friends house and we played games all night and it worked fine no issues at all! Then I brung it home went to hook it up and nothing just all lights and fans spin but nothing so I did basic stuff like I switched the voltage to 230 then back to 115 and still nothing I reseated all RAM in different spots still nothing I tried a different video card and still nothing so I took the CPU out and just to make sure it was in good shape and reseated it I even cleaned the fan. Still nothing so I have taken the hole thing out of the case and put it on a box just to test it and still nothing I've tried everything my buddy and me are positive it's a bad motherboard but I have no money I'm currently bankrupt lol and I need to get this fixed as I am going to be working online well "was" lol so any help would be of great use I will try anything at this point but I think either my motherboard died or the power supply somehow got fried

THE VOLTAGE SWITCH ON THE PSU IS NOT FOR TROUBLESHOOTING! DO NOT CHANGE IT FROM YOUR COUNTRIES VOLTAGE SPEC! Anyway, it sounds like a motherboard or PSU problem, you could have destroyed some of your components when you fucked with the PSU hard to tell. I'm assuming you don't have any parts to switch out with?

I have parts to switch out with like a graphics card and RAM but I don't have a PSU and yeah I figured it was prolly a horrible idea I'm almost positive my PSU is fucked but I didn't have it plugged in when I switched it

So your PSU still runs when you switch it on? Fans/Hard Drives spin?

Yes they all run and I just found a shitty PSU and plugged it in and it booted so yep that was the issue now my shit PSU only has one 4 pin going to mother board instead of two is that gonna be an issue?

If you're not doing any overclocking it should be fine using one 4 pin, but you should get in the habit of putting everything together properly, haha. Anyway if PSU spins hopefully that means it's working, if you had a multimeter you could test if further. If it's still not posting as of today, try stripping back to just a CPU, MOBO and one stick of ram. See if you can get a post. (Assuming you inbuilt graphics)
