What would you take?

If you were in my position, which one would you buy considering price and what you get for the price? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/jdZNNN this one would cost me about 427€ (477$) and http://pcpartpicker.com/list/z6G9WX this one would cost me €520 (580$). Let's say i want to be able to have enough CPU performance for next 4-5 years. So what do you recommend?

i could care less about the actual socket.

 

mostly because a newer platform also comes with a newer featureset. and the longer into the future you go, the more you'll bump your head into that featureset getting old.

 

for example: the later P4's (10-ish years old by now off the top of my head) are actually still *decent-ish* but they do not run windows 8 or newer because the platform lacks a feature windows 8 needs.
