Best aftermarket gtx 1080?

LinusTechDips

Hi there. I would like to know your opinion on which one of the aftermarket cooled gtx 1080 will be the best?

For the sake of comparision, please only refer to the air-cooled ones.

PS. Also, is there any expected date for the evga classified/gigabyte xtreme versions?

EVGA is probably the best in terms of quality and customer services IMO. As far as release dates on the Classified version, unfortunately I have not seen anything regarding them yet

About the customer services and their RMA:

If a card has coil whine, is it refundable? (or can i exchange it for a new one?) cause i heard that was a huge problem now (especially in 9xx series in EVGA).

EVGA has one of the best cards on the market. I dont believe they have any issues with Coil whine. All the coil whine issues seem to be with ASUS and MSI cards from what I have seen.

I'll agree with you on the Customer Service but all cards have the possibility of having coil whine. I've seen quite a few EVGA cards suffer from that.

I've seen some coil whine subjects on the EVGA official forums even. That's why i asked about the possibility of return/exchange. If EVGA does not offer it, is there a company that does?

I believe you can RMA a card with coil whine with EVGA, provided if it's actually bad enough.

As a GTX 980 Classified owner, I call BS on that rumor...

Asus - Quality

Evga - Customer support.

Asus Strix one is looking pretty badass, fully automated manufacturing for perfect OC , 3x fans , gigantic heat sinks and highly custominazable leds
