Affordable QHD or UHD Monitor for Productivity

Hello all,

So I'm looking to upgrade from my current 1080p IPS display to a 1440p or 2160p panel.

Maximum budget ~ £400.

Preferably an IPS panel, at least a good colour reproduction panel.

Using the monitor for software/game development, but I still want to be able to game. My GPU is Sapphire Nitro R9 390 so 1440p gaming is doable, but 4k is pushing it. So if I get a 4k panel I would play at lower resolution.

I want it to be a fair size, DPI of around 100-120. 4k at 27 inch is too small.

Any recommendations for affordable, good, reliable monitors in the UK?

Many thanks,

-Cameron

Thanks.

Like the Acer, but the 4k LG only 27 inch? Has DPI of 160, bit too high for my liking.

Cheers anyway.

I suggest you look at Ultra-wide monitors - supposedly excellent for productivity...

Here's one under £400: http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824025112

Nothing to see here ;)
