Primarily Video Editing Rig

A friend is putting together a new rig for video editing only (doesn't play games). So far this is the component list (see attached). This list was put together by someone else. I recommend a slightly higher wattage PSU for potential upgrades down the line and it needs a GPU. 

What would you guys recommend?

Monitors: X-STAR 30" 2560x1440 IPS

Peripherals: Logitech G9x Mouse, Corsair K9% RGB, Logitech Z623 Speakers, V-MODA Crossfade LP2's with Boom Pro Mic.

Skylake Xeons will not work on consumer chipsets (B150, H170, H110, Z170). You'll need a workstation/server chipset (C232, C236) for it to work and they're usually more expensive.

that sodimm's not gonna fit on the mobo, and the cpu won't work with a consumer chipset mobo.
