Game Crashing?!

Hey

 

I just bought Action Henk and it seems to crash every 5 or so minutes of playing...

 

The game will run fine, and then freeze and crash.

 

My 980Ti G1 is NOT overclocked, but MSI afterburner says it is hitting 98-100% of the power draw and I think that is causing it to crash.

 

This is not a very demanding game (at least I didn't think it was) but I am playing at 3440x1440...

 

Thoughts?

Whats your CPU? Try lowering the resolution to 1440p or 1080p and see if it will crash then

4690k at 4.8ghz

 

I will change the resolution and get back to you in either 8 minutes if it doesn't work, or tomorrow if it does

I changed the settings, it should be running at "450 fps" but still crashing...

 

Side note, is 80*C too hot for a gpu? Thats what it is pinned at during gameplay

That says 80c is okay, but still doesn't explain the crashing...

 

I'm going to add a bit of V to my cpu, see if that helps.

Does this game have a crash log?

Yes it does.

 

There are 2 sets of crash data. In each set is crash.dmp, error.txt, output_log.txt and report config.

 

The txt files are huge, and I can't really decipher them.

Seems to be fine now that i added a bit more voltage to the cpu. 1.300 -> 1.350
