hey everyone

I've been thinking about buying some new hardware, but when i started looking for stores that sell gaming stuff I've realized a couple of things, first of all there aren't many places like that around here, and the few ones that sell gaming grade hardware are waaaay too pricey, as example the new GTX 1070 is over 640$, the RX 480 8GB model is around 400$...etc
So i started thinking about buying from amazong or other shops that ship internationally, but if I do that i will have to deal with customs, which you probably already know can be a pain in the ass, especially .
so what do you guys recommend ? and do you thnk shopping from international resellers will lower the global cost of the product ?

Are there any major online retailers that operate in your Country? Does Amazon have a localized variant? (Eg: Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk)

If not, well, it really depends on how much more expensive it is to order internationally. You're going to be paying for more expensive shipping, plus whatever taxes and customs fees your country has.

If those fees are less than the "local pricing", then go for it.

FYI, if it ships via UPS or FedEx, international shipping is generally more expensive, because these companies often tack on a "brokerage fee", which is just a fee they charge to file your customs paperwork. In North America, CanadaPost and USPS do not charge these fees. Perhaps your local national postal service is the same?

actually no, there are no major retailers operating here, and custom fees to be honest are pretty random, depends on the guy in the post office so i can't exactly know how much i'm going to pay.

and yeah the pstal services here don't charge those fees, not always tho, but when they do it's marginal
