GTX 1070 or RX 480 Crossfire?

Go to solution Solved by Simon771,

GTX 1070 is better.

Sure in performance, you might get up to 15% better performance. But that's just in some games.

So that's the only benefit from RX 480 crossfire.

Cons of RX 480 crossfire:

-2x RX 480 will cost you more than single GTX 1070 (at least in EU)

-Not all games are compatibile with crossfire

-More power draw (200W more than GTX 1070)

-Heat problems

-2 cards will be louder than single card

-no backplate (well that's something I don't like)

I would like to know what you guys think and witch is the better option.

Single card over dual becauae heat, power consumption and generally not a veru good SLI/Cross optimization for games.

480s beat 1070 but is it worth the hassle for extra $50 (or depending where u live).

Plus, Single Powerful card is better than a SLI or CF. So, in future, you could go for 1070 SLI :)
