Hello, I have a Asus rog g20aj with a gtx 970. When I was just watching a YouTube video my monitor just lost the connection to my computer. My DVI cable which was plugged into the graphics card doesn't work now. Right now I am using a normal hdmi to hdmi but that isn't connected to the actual graphics card. When I try to launch GeForce experiance or download a driver it just says that I need a nvida gpu. I've tried using a new dvi cable but it is still not working, I've also tried using another monitor but again, it didn't fix it. This problem has occurred 2 times earlier and I've only had it for a few months because of that I'm tired of turning it in for repair which takes a couple of weaks. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

RMA and get a replacement, rather than a repair. Possibly RMA the whole PC, after backing it up. And tell them that this happens repeatedly.

Main Gaming Rig:

Spoiler

Core i7-4770, Cryorig M9i Cooler, ASUS B85M GAMER, 8GB HyperX Fury Red 2x4GB 1866MHz, KFA2 GTX 970 Infin8 Black Edition "4GB", 1TB Seagate SSHD, 256GB Crucial m4 SSD, 60GB Corsair SSD for Kerbal and game servers, Thermaltake Core V21 Case, EVGA SuperNOVA 650W G2.

Secondary PC:

Spoiler

i5-2500k OCed, Raijintek Themis, Intel Z77GA-70K, 8GB HyperX Genesis in grey, GTX 750 Ti, Gamemax Falcon case.
