This is actually a decent setup. At $400, I think it's pretty worth since it can still play most modern titles.

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X @4.3Ghz All-Core with Stock Cooler

You can but based on the CPU and RAM, you may face some bottle-necking (Not full utilization of card). Maybe a 970 would be more of your interest since prices are dropping left and right.

Looks like a good starting point.  Things to consider are 200GB+ SSD boot drive and a newer generation mid range GPU.  1050/1060 may be around the corner and the 480 looks promising for the price if the power situation is resolved.

There's something cool here - you just can't see it.
