Oh jesus mate godly fps gains. However just go for the old i5 4460 or something like that its cheaper and will perform the same as a i5 6500

That a8 is definitely holding back that 480, going to a 6500 you will be a big improvement.

Yeah, your 480 most likely is acting like a 270 in games, and considering the massive improvement in single threaded performance you will see 30-40fps differences if not more.

Seeing as how AMD could only compete with i3s in gaming performance on their best chips... Yeah, an i5 would be a huge step up
