Is Gsync Worth it

Hey Guys and Girls,

Recently ive been looking to upgrade my monitors to a single 21:9 Ultrawide
i wanted to know, is Gsync worth the extra AUD$400

Currently running a Strix 970 Upgrading to a Strix 1070 when its available around me and 3 ASUS VS247

im looking to upgrade to one of the following
$1599 Acer Predator X34 Curved 34in G-Sync IPS Gaming Monitor
$1139 LG 34UC87C 34in Curved UltraWide IPS Monitor
$1279 LG 34UC88-B 34in QHD Curved Ultrawide IPS LED Monitor

Any advice regarding if G-Sync is worth it or not and which monitor i should look at would be much appreciated

G-Sync is one of those things where you need to actually be able to use it before you decide if it's worth it. In my opinion, based on where you're located, I would urge you to wait until G-Sync displays drop in price. They keep coming down as the technology is still relatively new, but getting to the point where the lower prices are profitable.

However, if you have a lot of personal income, go for it. Just don't get an Asus one. Acer ones are fine.

If you work more than you game, maybe save the money and stick with the peasantry of V-Sync.

the extra price for the x34 not only gives you gsync but also 100Hz refresh rate !! instear of 75. So yes pretty much worth it .
