Hello,

This is my first time building a PC so I've done a fair amount of research in to various parts and with the release of the R9 480 I'm finally pulling the trigger, so to speak. Below is a link to a PCPartpicker list for what i have planned. I'm planning on the intel i5-6500 CPU so overclocking won't be a thing, as a result z170 motherboards, and their increased price, are in my opinion unnecessary. As a result I'm left with a choice of H170 or other motherboards. Understanding the chipsets has been a nightmare..... Anyway I've listed below four motherboards that are around my price range, I'm leaning towards full ATX boards, although micro-ATX would be a decent budget comprimise. Asthetics are a bit of an issue, as I do not want a complete color clash, ie red case blue mobo.

From what I have seen the first gigabyte option is a good choice, it has decent asthetics, sound quality, and apparently a little eye candy, although I can't actually find any pictures of this. The fourth option is a bit nicer on the wallet but I've seen some bad customer reviews (which can't always be trusted). Anyway deciphering what's really important is hard, PCI, PCIe, networking cards has become confusing. Also apparently a few of the boards are actually shorter on one side, although I do not know what this means in terms of the build itself.
