Just got mine today aaaand its faulty.

5 minutes into playing Witcher 3 and I get black artifact boxes all over the screen (yes I used DDU to remove previous drivers)... Also tested Fallout 4, same predicament.

Just asked scan to accept a return. Unless someone here can help my figure out whats up. If not then its RMA time.

I'd return it if you already fiddled with the drivers and can't get non artifact images out under load, but be warned they are sold out online atleast so it may take a while to get a replacement

Thats fine by me. I have had one too many faulty (sub-par) AMD graphics cards for my liking. I'll return it and get another 980 Ti and a new PSU and SLI them with my current one.

Wait why did you buy a 480 if you have a 980ti??? I'm confused to say the least.

I wanted something that would consume less power but have great DX12 performance. Sadly looks like I can't have that, AMD wont let me even though I want to buy their shit lol

Plus I was thinking of putting into a side rig that i've being building up.

Trust me, I will once i've got my refund off Scan. Their returns department is shut right now so i'll have to wait till tomorrow to get a reply.

Its such a shame, I was really looking forward to playing with it today. Excited at work all day to come home to disappointment.

Huh... just plugged it into other PC just to see what happens. Does exactly the same thing, weird green lines all over screen etc... but had the idea to "wiggle" the HDMI cable where it plugs into the card and the screen flickers and goes back to normal... faulty HDMI port/loose connection? I'm going to test this on my main rig.

Update:

Bumping up the voltage to 1150 in Catalyst (whatever its called now) stops the artifacts from happening for a longer period of time, around 10 minutes then starts happening again. For anyone curious as to what I mean I recorded a brief video running Heaven benchmark
