School work as in the machine will sit on your desk most of the time?  Or will you be taking it to school all the time?

15" laptops are quite a handful to haul around these days.  And if its sitting at the desk all the time, why not just buy a desktop?  Not to be discouraging, but I've never really understood the overall 'case' for a gaming laptop, other than maybe someone who is stuck in a work camp/dorm.

i have a 15" laptop right now and honestly i dont mind the size, you tend to pay a hefty price premium for something with similar specs but smaller
