Ok so this is my first post on this site and i need help.

I moved the pump header on my corsair h100i gtx from the usb to the pump header on my asus z170-e motherboard and also tried to move the hard drive to a different spot on my computer. I unplugged the drive and plugged it back in (turning of the power first). Now my computer won't load windows and the boot device led is red and my monitor is displaying the american megatrends screen. ive tried reseating the ram and clearing the cmos. Nothing has worked. this computer has only been build for about week. I've also noticed that in my bios the cpu temp is getting very high (80C) but my water cooler is working. if anybody can please help it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you shorted and fried something (either the mobo or the SSD or both) by plugging the USB connector to the PWM header. RTFM next time... Your CPU temps are nearing four times the normal. Do not keep it on at those temps. The speedstep can't help you in BIOS. You either have bad TIM or no TIM or the plastic film on the block or the pump is fried too or something.
