Will 450 Watt be enough?

Hi,

 

At the moment I am looking at my options for a budget gaming pc build. My budget is between €600-€800. These are the parts:

 

-CPU: I5 6400 (BLCK oc to 3.8ghz)

-Mobo: MSI 170 Tomahawk

-Memory: Kingston hyperx Fury DDR4 2x4

-CPU Cooler: Cooler Master hyper 212 evo

-Chassis: NZXT Source 340

-GPU: AMD RX 480

-Fans: Two 140mm NZXT fans

-A keyboard and a gaming mouse

 

Will a 450 watt PSU be enough to power it?

What 450W unit is it? 450W is enough but you may want a higher quality PSU.

yup,even a cheap chinese PSU with 450 watts will run it.But I STRONGLY reccomend you buy a good quality PSU.Trust me it's worth the investment as a cheap PSU can destroy your whole PC,I have seen this happen and it's like hell.

Well I have it's big brother vs650 and I love it,has been working flawlessly for over 2 years.

Get a Seasonic S12. Also, with things being released about the RX480 drawing too much power from the PCI slots it may be better to get a used 970 over the 480.
