Earlier today my PC was working just fine.

But, after turning it off for a while and trying to turn it on later, it stopped working. All fan and case LEDs light up, all fans start spinning, and suddenly it all sort of chokes and stops. If I don't turn off the power supply, after a few seconds it all lights up again and stops.

I have completely disassembled the system and reassembled it in order to check all connections but it still doesn't work. I did try turning it on without the GPU, without the RAM sticks and with only one of the RAM sticks at a time but still nothing.

My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3330

GPU: 1x MSI R9 380 2gb

RAM: 2x8 gb DDR3 RAM (Corsair Vengeance)

PSU: PCYes! Electro 600W (you may not know it overseas but it is a great quality power supply)

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H

STORAGE: 1x Seagate 1TB HDD

1x Samsung 120gb SSD

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

Mah rig:

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 with its stock Wraith Spire RGB cooler

GPU: Gigabyte Mini ITX GTX 1070 OC Edition

MOBO: Gigabyte AB350M-D3H motherboard

Storage:

  • 1x 120GB Samsung SSD(Windows + some programs)
  • 1x 1TB 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda HDD(Windows storage)
  • 1x 160GB Samsung HDD(Archlinux)

Case: Orange Cougar Challenger

PSU: PCYes! Electro 600W

Either CPU or Mobo, but most likely Mobo. You can probably try RMA'ing it or taking it to a local computer repair store to see if they can determine the issue

Alright; I have another PC on my living room, will try swapping its CPU and MOBO with my current PC's ones.

-Turn off your PC

-Unplug the power cord from the power supply

-Wait about 45 seconds

-If you don't have the jumper touch both CMOS pins at the same time with a metal object for a few seconds to clear the cmos

Then plug it back up and see if you can get the system to post

So, I put everything on the other motherboard and now I get absolutely no response: no fans spinning, no lights turning on.

I suppose all I have left to try is cleaning the CMOS.

It didn't work with the other motherboard, so clearing the CMOS won't do a thing.

I tried with another PSU but didn't work either.

Is there anything else I can do?
