RX480 vs GTX1070

Hello! Recently, the release of GPU's such as 1080/70, and the fact my graphics card is struggling with modern day tripple-A titles, got me thinking.

My birthday is coming up this friday, and I thought: "This is the perfect oportunity to give myself a gift ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)". So, I have two options, either I pay €520 for the GTX1070 OR I pay roughly ~€350 for the (unreleased at the time of writing) RX480, once it is available here in Portugal!

I need your guy's help given I am undecided between the two. I know the 1070 has a better price/perf ratio, but at the moment, those €520 are just a little too much. Question is, do I wait for the RX480 to be available in my country, or do I save a few more euros up for the 1070? I'm very inclined towards green team here, but the rx480 looks so promising...

I dont know guys, help me make up my mind, gimme the Pros and Cons of both cards pls.

Basically do you want to play in 1440p or 1080p. IMO 1440p is great :D

I would wait for the benchmarks... Then re-evaluate your situation.

Well personally I like mine haha :D. Got it off  e Bay link

It has been great overclocked like a champion to 100 Hz from 60, perfect combo if you go for a 1070. It is good value, although costs are cut on the case for example I have a few buttons that are there but do nothing (not meant to do anything, the case must be used for many monitors). If that stuff doesn't bother you great purchase quality LG panel loving every minute. Came from S.Korea to Australia in a few days (free shipping) without a scratch (amazing the post service here is horrible) well packaged. Look up Korean Monitors on google Tek Syndicate has a good video on them from memory.

Awesome!! I'll check it out. Just one thing, what was that about the buttons in the case? I'm confused... :/

oh there are some buttons are not intended to do anything (not broken) but they are still there because they might be used in other monitors that use the same casing. E.g this monitor as a button for on/off, brightness up and down. Another monitor may need more buttons for instance maybe it needs a contrast button as well as the other buttons there are extra buttons on the case that have no function to allow for multiple monitors to use the case.
