Hi all,

Since everyone is posting about GPUs, I thought I'd tag along and stay with the theme.

So I just sold my GTX 950 (running a 460 now) and I want to upgrade. I was thinking about the 1070, but €400 is way too much for me.

I was considering the RX470 (still kinda am) but I might be wanting to use CUDA somewhere next year, which would become a bit of a problem.

I saw a second hand (but apperently unused) Gainward GTX970 Phantom for €225.

My uses are:

- CS:GO

- The Witcher 3

- ME Andromeda (when it's finally released)

- Rise of the Tomb Raider

- Possibly accelerating algorithms (CUDA)

I only play at 1080x1920 which won't change anytime soon.

Any advice? Should I wait for the 1060, if so, any idea when it'll be released?

Thanks :)

If you need CUDA, 970 (like I do), used 970 is the way to go.

What OS do you use for CUDA on a 970? I tried the 950 on Ubuntu and Mint but it would destroy my install every time.

The app only has a Windows version. Devs are working on a multi platform, OpenCL version of it. But in the meantime, Windows + CUDA it is.
